Job Description
This role involves the day-to-day support and advancement of global network infrastructure, encompassing data center and campus switching/routing, WAN technologies like SD-WAN and IPsec VPN, and remote access VPN. The engineer will also manage cloud networking, implement infrastructure as code using Python, Ansible, and Terraform, and handle network monitoring, alerting, and logging. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, documenting procedures, contributing to architectural direction, and performing knowledge transfer within the IT Infrastructure team.
Good To Have:
- Holding Azure or AWS network certification.
- Holding Linux certification.
- Holding CCNA or CCNP certification.
Must Have:
- Day-to-day support and advancement of global network infrastructure.
- Experience with Data Center, Campus Switching and Routing.
- Experience with WAN technologies like SD-WAN and IPsec VPN.
- Experience with Remote Access VPN.
- Cloud networking experience in Azure and AWS.
- Infrastructure as code experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Experience with Linux shell.
- Monitor network utilization and performance.
- Troubleshoot and escalate network incidents.
- Document technical engineering procedures.
- BE or BTech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Classic Network Engineering experience.
- Understanding of Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching concepts.
- Understanding, deployment, and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF.
- Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional ability and solid desire to learn new skills.

In this role, you will:
Have the responsibility for day-to-day support and advancement of our global network infrastructure, which includes areas such as:
- Data Center Switching and Routing as well as Campus Switching and Routing
- WAN technologies such as SD-WAN and IPsec VPN
- Remote Access VPN
- Cloud networking
- Network infrastructure as code with Python, Ansible and Terraform.
- Network Management, Monitoring, Alerting and Logging
- Monitor network utilization and performance.
- Troubleshoot and escalate appropriately upon network incidents.
- Multi-task efforts that may include other providers.
- Document technical engineering procedures for use by other members of the IT Infrastructure team.
- Contribute to roadmap, architectural direction, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate proactively about opportunities, expectations, timelines, risks, and issues.
- Perform knowledge transfer to other members of the IT Infrastructure Team.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and the RFP/RFI process.
- Act as a resource for others at peer or above level; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on developing solutions; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Your background:
- BE or BTech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- Classic Network Engineering experience
- Understanding of Cisco Nexus data center switching and Cisco Catalyst switching concepts
- Understanding, deployment, and troubleshooting experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
- Cloud networking experience
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts in Azure as well as relevant experience
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts in AWS as well as relevant experience
- Infrastructure as code experience
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Experience with Linux shell and Python
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform
- Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional ability and solid desire to learn new skills
- Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:
