Staff Engineer [Security, Infrastructure, and Performance]

We’re looking a Staff Engineer [Security, Infrastructure, and Performance] who thrives on complexity, builds for scale, and wants to help reinvent how millions of people work.

What you'll do

• Architect and build scalable, cloud-native distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform

• Lead the development of Infrastructure as Code automation to shape evolution of Attio infrastructure

• Drive system-wide improvements in scalability, reliability, security, and performance

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience designing and building scalable backend and distributed systems

• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes

• Strong software engineering skills with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js at scale is preferred (experience with Go, Rust, or Python is also fine!)

• Ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers across teams

• Bonus: experience with globally distributed databases such as Google Spanner or CockroachDB
