Position Overview

Autodesk is building the future of how the world brings ideas to life—and our design-and-make platform is at the heart of it. We’re creating the connective tissue that lets humans, systems, and large language models work together to solve problems at a planetary scale.

As a Product Content Strategist for Platform Experiences, you’ll design the content layer that powers this collaboration. You’ll work across AI-driven experiences, in-product workflows, APIs, and developer tools, ensuring that every interaction—whether it’s a human navigating instructions, a system consuming structured content, or an LLM retrieving guidance—is clear, consistent, and impactful. You’ll shape not just what we say, but how our platform communicates—with people, with machines, and with the future.

This is a hybrid/remote role with preference for candidates in Canada (both EST and PST).

To be considered, you must apply and include your resume and portfolio with password if required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, design, engineering, and AI/ML teams to design content strategies for platform features that serve both human developers and AI agents
  • Define how information flows between structured data, in-product experiences, and long-form content—so humans and LLMs can find and act on it instantly
  • Create onboarding and learning experiences that accelerate comprehension, adoption, and delight
  • Architect information systems that ensure accuracy, accessibility, and adaptability over time
  • Experiment with new ways of co-authoring content with AI while maintaining human editorial judgment
  • Advocate for clarity, inclusivity, and design integrity in every user touchpoint
  • Contribute to Autodesk’s global content design standards, shaping how our platform speaks to the world
  • Build frameworks and playbooks to ensure that the craft meets the quality standards and drives measurable impact to customers
  • Use storytelling to elevate the impact of your work across disciplines and executive leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of designing and shipping product content strategies for end-to-end experiences
  • Experience communicating content design and technical documentation topics to an internal and external audience
  • A history of measuring and delivering the impact of products and platforms on production environments
  • Technical ability to engage with development tools (i.e., Git, VS Code, Cursor, MCP, AI Models)
  • A degree in English, computer science, psychology, or human-computer interaction paired with commensurate work experience in product content
  • API and SDK authoring experience a plus
