Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer at Fluxon, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of products, partnering with clients to define requirements, design systems, and plan development. This role involves providing technical guidance, building and iterating in a dynamic environment, and fostering a healthy engineering culture. You will also mentor engineers across multiple teams, contributing to their growth and strengthening team capabilities.

• Fluent in the design and implementation of scalable system architectures, data structures, algorithms, and effective development practices.

About the role

As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll drive the end-to-end delivery of products to market while learning, contributing, and growing in partnership with our leadership team.

You'll be responsible for:

• Guiding product delivery all the way to the user, leading projects, providing technical guidance, and building and iterating in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in software development
• Experience leading development through the full product lifecycle, including CI/CD, testing, release management, deployment, monitoring and incident response
• Fluent in the design and implementation of scalable system architectures, data structures and algorithms, and effective development practices

What we offer

Our salary range for this role is $165,000 to $185,000 CAD per year, and we consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.
