As a Strategy Planner, you will be the foundational thinker behind groundbreaking campaigns, uncovering social and cultural insights to develop compelling strategies for clients. You'll guide both client and internal teams, providing strategic leadership, and shaping the understanding of target audiences and market dynamics. Responsibilities include in-depth research, developing strategic frameworks, leading workshops, advising clients, monitoring market trends, defining target audiences, collaborating with teams, and evaluating campaign effectiveness. You will also contribute to new business pitches and educate internal teams on emerging trends.
Must have:

We're searching for a Strategy Planner to be the foundational thinker behind our groundbreaking campaigns. You'll be instrumental in uncovering deep social and cultural insights, translating them into compelling strategies that drive impactful and innovative solutions for our clients.

As a Strategy Planner, you'll proactively guide both client and internal teams, ensuring our creative and PR efforts are built on a solid, insightful foundation. You'll hold significant responsibility for providing exceptional strategic thought leadership, shaping our understanding of target audiences and market dynamics, and actively contributing to new business development for the agency.

We also expect you to remain at the forefront of the ever-evolving social, cultural, and industry landscapes. You'll identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and communication strategies, playing a crucial role in educating not only your immediate team but also the broader agency on these advancements. Your insights will ensure our work consistently leads the way in effectiveness and relevance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify key cultural, social, and consumer insights that inform strategy.
  • Develop compelling strategic frameworks and briefs that inspire creative teams and clearly address client challenges.
  • Lead collaborative workshops and brainstorming sessions with internal teams and clients to unlock innovative solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting strategic recommendations with clarity and conviction.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities.
  • Define target audiences and their motivations, journeys, and touchpoints in the social ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, account, and PR teams to ensure strategic alignment throughout campaign development and execution.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness against strategic objectives, extracting learnings for future initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business pitches by providing insightful strategic direction and rationale.
  • Educate internal teams on emerging trends, new methodologies, and best practices in social and communications strategy.
  • 3-5 years experience in a planning or strategy role within an advertising or creative agency.
  • Proven ability to develop insightful, innovative, and effective communication strategies based on deep understanding of client business, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills to uncover relevant cultural, social, and consumer insights from diverse data sources.
  • A genuine curiosity and ability to understand target audiences, their motivations, needs, and pain points.
  • Expertise in crafting clear, inspiring, and actionable creative briefs that guide creative teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with creative, account, and media teams, fostering a unified approach.
  • Ability to articulate complex strategic concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Keen interest in and knowledge of emerging social, cultural, technological, and industry trends that impact brand communications.
  • Understanding of how to define KPIs, measure campaign effectiveness, and extract actionable learnings.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to identifying client challenges and proposing strategic solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work individually on a project and/or in a team environment.
  • Fluent in Thai and English.
