CAE is the German subsidiary of a global leader in simulation and training technology for pilots and flying personnel. We develop, produce, and support advanced flight and land simulation training devices and networked simulation applications. Our 500 employees work in international teams, tackling exciting daily challenges. We are seeking a working student in software development to join our PMO team in Stolberg, near Aachen, to contribute to the further development of web-based dashboards and other planning tools.
Must have:
  • Further development of a web-based dashboard for displaying project status
  • Processing and further development of other tools, e.g., resource planning tool
  • Determination and evaluation of critical project paths (Quality Gates)
Good to have:
  • Basic knowledge of Coffeescript is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Shell Scripting is an advantage

To strengthen our PMO team at our company headquarters in Stolberg near Aachen, located in the tri-border region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, we are looking for you as soon as possible as a

Working Student (m/f/d) in Software Development

Your Tasks:

  • Further development of a web-based dashboard for displaying project status
  • Processing and further development of other tools, e.g., resource planning tool
  • Determination and evaluation of critical project paths (Quality Gates)

Your Profile:

  • Interest in web-based programming
  • Knowledge in one of the following programming languages: PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML or Ruby
  • First experiences with databases (like MySQL) or PHPMyAdmin
  • Basic knowledge of Coffeescript is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Shell Scripting is an advantage
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with new subject areas
  • Currently studying Computer Science, Business Informatics or with a focus on Computer Science at a German university.
