This internship offers a full-time opportunity to work within Disney's Studio Operations team in Burbank, CA from May/June 2025 to August/September 2025. The role involves assisting in the creation and optimization of dashboards, reports, and tools to support Studio Operations planning and decision-making. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to gather business requirements, developing self-service reporting solutions, participating in data aggregation and visualization, supporting ad-hoc analyses, and contributing to training material creation. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL), strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

About the Role & Program:

Join the Studio Operations team as a Summer Intern, where you'll collaborate with experienced professionals to support data-driven decision-making across our supply chain. In this role, you’ll assist in designing, developing, and optimizing dashboards, reports, and analytics while learning about real-world applications of business intelligence and data analytics. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analytics, reporting, and operational insights while contributing to high-impact projects.

This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from  May/ June 2025August/September 2025.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in creating and optimizing dashboards, reports, and tools to support Studio Operations planning and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with team members to gather and understand business requirements for data analysis and reporting.

  • Develop and update self-service reporting solutions to empower stakeholders to access key insights independently.

  • Participate in data aggregation, cleaning, and visualization to inform supply chain performance metrics.

  • Support ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Help draft training materials and documentation to guide users in effectively leveraging BI tools.

  • Collaborate on user acceptance testing and provide feedback on reporting tools to improve user experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or other programming languages for data manipulation.

  • A passion for learning and applying analytics to solve business challenges.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, with a desire to share findings and insights in clear, actionable ways.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exposure to data modeling, relational databases, or cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.

  • An understanding of supply chain operations or experience in media/entertainment is desirable but not required.

Education:

  • Undergraduate students in their senior year pursuing a bachelor's degree in analytical field, business, or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.  Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
