Job Description

As Group Leader - Field Maintenance NDT, you will be responsible for a strategic scope focused on field inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for attractions/parade floats and used spare parts. You will manage the NDT inspector team and external service providers, ensuring the reliability and safety of attractions, optimizing field flow and used parts management, and integrating innovative inspection solutions, all while adhering to Disney's Five Keys: Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency.

Must Have:
  • Organize, supervise, and perform NDT inspections on attractions and used spare parts.
  • Ensure technological watch on new NDT methods and equipment.
  • Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards, Disney standards, and safety requirements.
  • Plan, monitor, and optimize preventive and corrective controls via CMMS (Maximo).
  • Design and manage subcontracting schemes based on workload and operational priorities.
  • Implement performance indicators and ensure regular reporting.
  • Identify and implement process optimization actions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Engineer degree with at least 10 years of experience in NDT, industrial maintenance, complex technical inspection, or production.
  • Proficiency in NDT methods (COFREND Level 2 MT/PT/UT) and standards (5817, welding processes, visual inspection).
  • Mastery of digital tools and database management (CMMS, QMS, Power BI).

Within the Safety and Risk Prevention Department, our Quality Control and Supplier Quality Assurance (QC SQA) service is recruiting a Group Leader - Field Maintenance Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Reporting directly to the Quality Control & Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, you will take responsibility for a strategic scope focused on field inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for attractions/parade floats and used spare parts.

You will supervise:

  • The NDT inspector team (MT/PT/UT)
  • On-site and off-site service providers performing controls on parts and equipment

Your objectives will include guaranteeing the reliability and safety of attractions, optimizing the management of field flow and used parts, and integrating innovative inspection solutions, all while respecting our Five Keys: Safety, Courtesy, Inclusion, Show, and Efficiency.

Your Main Missions:

1. NDT controls on attractions and used spare parts

  • Organize, supervise, and perform NDT inspections on attractions and spare parts from the field (attraction maintenance and parade floats).
  • Ensure technological watch on new NDT methods and equipment, and integrate innovative inspection solutions to improve the performance, precision, and safety of controls.
  • Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards, Disney standards, and safety requirements.

2. Management of field flow and used spare parts

  • Plan, monitor, and optimize preventive and corrective controls via CMMS (Maximo).
  • Be the privileged contact for the Ride Maintenance teams and internal partners.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and traceability of interventions, including during on-call duties.

3. On-site / off-site subcontracting

  • Design and manage subcontracting schemes according to workload and operational priorities.
  • Quantify externalizable volumes, define a budget, and guarantee the quality of services.
  • Coordinate on-site service providers and ensure their integration into QC processes.

4. Steering & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement performance indicators and ensure regular reporting. Lead the steering rituals of your activity.
  • Identify and implement process optimization actions, relying on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strengthen the reliability, responsiveness, and operational capacity of the service in a context of increasing volumes and aging infrastructures.

Your Profile:

  • Engineer degree, you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: NDT specialization, industrial maintenance, complex technical inspection, or production.
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in team management and subcontracting coordination.
  • Ideally, you have an intermediate English level (B1).
  • Proficiency in NDT methods (COFREND Level 2 MT/PT/UT), as well as standards and requirements related to 5817, welding processes, and visual inspection.
  • Strong interest in technological innovation and active monitoring in the NDT field.
  • Organizational skills, rigor, and ability to work in a demanding safety environment.
  • Mastery of digital tools and database management (CMMS, QMS, Power BI - steering tool…)
  • Rigor, organization, analytical mind, and leadership.

This position is a permanent contract (CDI) - Executive status - Position based in Chessy (77), full-time on-site presence (no teleworking)
