Job Summary

Respawn is seeking a Studio Operations Lead to ensure the smooth functioning of the studio, focusing on new hire and intern onboarding, and maintaining the studio's culture and brand. This role blends logistics, creativity, and people support, managing onboarding, building internal communications, and creating visual materials. The lead will collaborate across teams, connect with new hires and partners, and bring a customer-service mindset to foster a connected and inspired environment.

Must Have

  • Own the onboarding experience for all new hires and interns.
  • Manage the internship program for Respawn interns.
  • Create and manage Respawn branding materials including decks, flyers, newsletters, and social media assets.
  • Maintain the Respawn Newsletter and ensure studio updates are timely, relevant, and reflect our tone and values.
  • Support studio engagement efforts including team events, celebrations, and culture initiatives.
  • Take on ad hoc projects and provide creative or operational support.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Canva and Photoshop.
  • Skilled in Google Workspace and comfortable learning new tools or systems.
  • Strong communication skills that are clear, thoughtful, and professional.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • A problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and keeps things moving forward.
  • Passion for creating a great employee experience and supporting a strong, collaborative studio culture.

We are seeking an Studio Operations Lead to join our team. The Studio Operations Lead helps keep Respawn running smoothly by making sure every new hire and intern has a great start and that our studio’s culture and brand stay strong and consistent. This role blends logistics, creativity, and people support, managing onboarding, building internal communications, and creating visual materials that represent who we are.

We’re looking for someone who’s organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing a few different hats. You’ll collaborate with teams across the studio, connect with new hires and partners, and bring a customer-service mindset to everything you do.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the onboarding experience for all new hires and interns, from tracking start dates and coordinating with key partners to leading in-person and virtual orientations that introduce people to Respawn’s culture and operations.
  • Manage the internship program for Respawn interns, working closely with our Emerging Talent and Talent Acquisition to handle onboarding, plan events, and support the overall intern experience.
  • Create and manage Respawn branding materials including decks, flyers, newsletters, and social media assets to keep our internal communications and studio identity cohesive and engaging.
  • Maintain the Respawn Newsletter and ensure studio updates are timely, relevant, and reflect our tone and values.
  • Support studio engagement efforts including team events, celebrations, and culture initiatives that help people feel connected and inspired.
  • Take on ad hoc projects and provide creative or operational support wherever it’s needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Canva and Photoshop
  • Skilled in Google Workspace and comfortable learning new tools or systems
  • Experience supporting onboarding or employee programs is a plus
  • Strong communication skills that are clear, thoughtful, and professional

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$83,100 - $127,500 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
