Sabre Profiles is seeking a talented Supervisor Software Engineering to join our Back End Teams.

Sabre Profiles Team is focused on designing, developing and maintaining variety of services running on open systems providing solutions to maintain customer profile information for airlines and travel agencies around the globe.

We provide Profile Management system that stores and manages profile related data in an Oracle database and interfaces with a variety of front ends and point of sale applications, supporting both Air and Agency customers. Our system offers to Sabre customers a structured format to efficiently manage customer profile content including contact, payment, and loyalty program information.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Leads a multidisciplinary workforce with a stability-first mentality.
• Monitors development processes and propose necessary changes and improvements.
• Prepares and oversees the release cycle
• Work with Product Management, SRE, and DBA Teams to understand desired application capabilities, and balance priorities, deadlines, and staff allocation.
• Mentors team members and help to manage their career paths.
• Regularly interacts with other leaders, tech leads, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of related experience
• Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Very good knowledge of Sabre/Travel business/domain
• Proficient English, both written and verbal
• Self-disciplined and commitment oriented
• Knowledge of SDLC
• Familiarity with cloud-based technology
• Degree in computer science/equivalent certifications or experience
