Job Description

Adtran is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join their Supply Chain Analytics team in Germany. The role involves designing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Tableau and Excel, developing data models, and supporting monthly LTI and Buffer updates in SAP/Fiori/Excel. The analyst will collaborate with various departments, identify automation opportunities, mitigate disruptions, and document processes. This position is crucial for optimizing cost-performance and ensuring customer lead time expectations.
Must have:
  • Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to support S&OP decision-making in Tableau and Excel
  • Development of logical data models and requirements as input for new analytical tools and reports
  • Lead or backup support for monthly LTI (Lead Time Traffic Indicator) and Buffer Update in SAP/Fiori/Excel to fulfil Customer Lead Time expectations and to ensure an optimized cost-performance ratio
  • Collaboration with other application departments to align on additional requirements and changes for data warehouse, SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori and Sales Force
  • Detection of redundant, cross-applicational-tasks, that require significant, manual resources with potential to automate through MS Excel and Tableau or other applications
  • Mitigation of disruptions, which have a negative impact on target achievement
  • Act in all tasks and circumstances according to Adtrans principles and COO targets
  • Support of documentation for report and process explanation on demand

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and technically skilled Supply Chain Analyst (M/F/D) to join our Supply Chain Analytics team in Meiningen, Berlin or Munich, Germany. Principle duties and essential functions:

  • Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to support S&OP decision-making in Tableau and Excel
  • Development of logical data models and requirements as input for new analytical tools and reports
  • Lead or backup support for our monthly LTI (Lead Time Traffic Indicator) and Buffer Update in SAP/Fiori/Excel to fulfil Customer Lead Time expectations and to ensure an optimized cost-performance ratio

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Informatics or administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or/and Business Applications
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Creative thinking skills with strong emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Customer, service and quality oriented
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, international and team oriented environment
  • Pro-active in learning and highly self-motivated
  • Base knowledge in BI Tooling (Tableau preferred), SAP ECC and MS-Excel
