We are currently looking for a highly motivated and flexible Student (M/F/D) to join our Advanced Technology team in Meiningen. If you want to be a part of our growing company that is driven by innovation and is focused on building a future together with our employees, consider applying.

This position offers a hands-on opportunity to engage with advanced mobile network technologies, focusing on 5G and 6G. Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) introduced in 2018, enhances network flexibility and efficiency, crucial for 5G and beyond deployment. In this role, the student will assist in Rollout settings, measurement and evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for 5G/6G networks, analyzing performance data, and developing automated scripts.

Principle duties and essential functions

• Take care of the rollout activities: Assist in the configuration and dimensioning of the network components (RU, DU, CU).

• Organize the Measurement campaign: support the team with the development and implementation of automated scripts for data collection and analysis.

• Network KPI Assessment: Analyze network performance data using Python and other analytical tools.

• Documentation: prepare detailed reports and contribute to research on emerging trends and technologies in mobile communication.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Telecommunication, Computer science, Electrical engineering, or a related field

• Good knowledge of mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent self-organization and time management skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
