Position overview

Nasdaq is looking for Issuer Surveillance analysts to join our team in Vilnius. The Surveillance Department is responsible for monitoring issuers and members of the Exchange, with regards to compliance with exchange regulation. The relevant sets of rules that issuers and members are obliged to comply with are published on Nasdaq 's website.

The Issuer Surveillance team is responsible, among other things, reviewing and assessing if an issuer and/or a financial instrument meet the requirement of the market place.

Employees within Surveillance are subject to restrictions with regards to trading in securities.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Review of applications for admission to trading and application for removal from trading in securitized derivative instruments, including among other things increased amounts and new underlyings in securitized derivative instruments
  • Providing technical support on application submittance
  • Preparing Surveillance statistics and reports
  • Review, update, and provide recommendations to the current relevant procedures and policies

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or other relevant area.
  • Strong interest in financial markets and market integrity.
  • Ability to work well in a team set up and have a purposeful mindset.
  • Excellent conflict management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent language skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, proficiency with Word and PowerPoint.

Working as a trading surveillance analyst involves a dynamic and challenging role where you monitor trading activities using state of the art surveillance system and other analytical tools. What happens now?

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office with a requirement to attend the office at least 2 days a week.

Monthly base salary 2400-2650 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.
