Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join Nasdaq Vilnius's Information Security Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow skills in both cloud and on-prem environments. The analyst will be crucial in implementing and maintaining security tooling, supporting secure architecture and networking practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen the overall security posture. Key responsibilities include incident response, security guidance, documentation, and participating in risk assessments to advance economic progress for all.
Good To Have:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools.
  • Experience working with API’s and data transformation.
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc).
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, AWS/Azure/GCP foundational, CEH, CCNA Security, etc).
  • Exposure to security tools such as WAF, EDR, Vulnerability scanning, etc.
  • Experience experimenting with AI frameworks.
Must Have:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide security guidance on application architecture and networking.
  • Help develop and maintain documentation for security processes and controls.

  • Foundational knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
  • Basic understanding of Linux and Windows OS security.
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This role is ideal for someone with a problem-solving mindset who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow their skills across both cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll help implement and maintain security tooling, support secure architecture and networking practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and tune security tools (WAF, EDR, Vulnerability scanners, etc).
  • Support incident response and investigation efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide security guidance on application architecture and networking.
  • Help develop and maintain documentation for security processes and controls.
  • Participate in security reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling exercises.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.

What We Expect:

  • Foundational knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and\or GCP).
  • Basic understanding of Linux and Windows OS security.
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools.

  • Monthly base salary 3600 - 4000 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.

This is a full-time permanent position. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 3 days per week.
