Job Description
The Senior Vice President of Solutions Engineering is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution of Uniphore’s global solutions engineering function. This role leads the organization that bridges our cutting-edge AI technologies with customer business outcomes—designing, showcasing, and delivering solutions that accelerate adoption, drive growth, and ensure customer success across industries and geographies.
The SVP of Solutions Engineering will lead and scale a world-class global team, ensuring our solutions demonstrate clear value, resonate with business and technical stakeholders, and differentiate Uniphore in a highly competitive market. This role partners closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering to align solutions strategy with business objectives and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Solutions Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for global solutions engineering, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Position Uniphore’s multimodal AI platform to showcase measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients across verticals.
- Guide the development of repeatable, scalable solution frameworks that accelerate adoption and drive differentiation.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, scale, and inspire a global solutions engineering team, including pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and industry specialists.
- Build a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, and innovation.
- Invest in professional development to create the strongest solutions engineering team in the enterprise AI industry.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales to drive revenue growth by developing solution strategies tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence product roadmaps with customer and market insights.
- Work closely with Marketing to articulate value propositions and create compelling demonstrations, use cases, and content.
Customer Engagement & Advocacy
- Serve as a senior executive sponsor in key customer engagements, guiding solution design and ensuring alignment to strategic goals.
- Represent Uniphore in customer-facing forums, industry events, and executive briefings.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders.
Innovation & Market Impact
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to shape Uniphore’s solution strategies.
- Drive the integration of Generative AI, Knowledge AI, Emotion AI, and workflow automation into customer-facing solutions.
- Champion innovation to solve enterprise pain points with differentiated, outcome-based solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of leading large, global solutions engineering or pre-sales organizations in enterprise software/SaaS.
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies, enterprise architecture, and customer experience solutions.
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and influencing skills across business and technical contexts.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience building, scaling, and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Ability to translate complex technology into clear, outcome-based business value.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or related functions, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
- Experience collaborating across product, sales, and engineering in high-growth enterprise environments.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and strong operational execution.
