The Triage Engineering team is looking for an engineer with a strong technical and triaging background to help screen and triage incoming bug reports, handle a large influx of reports, reduce them to practical steps and assign them to the appropriate team. You will play a key part in making future releases of Apple’s communication applications and browser exceptional. This role involves screening incoming bugs, managing a large queue efficiently, simplifying reports, and assigning them to the correct engineers. Excellent communication is crucial due to close interaction with various engineering teams. You will also use your programming skills to automate and scale triaging to identify critical issues faster. Responsibilities include triaging incoming bugs, analyzing logs, reproducing issues, determining correct resolvers and priority, and identifying emerging trends. You will also design, develop, and automate the triaging of incoming bugs, drive quality, and champion bug fixes by working with the development team and participating in root cause analysis.
