We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems and networks while providing support to end-users. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to system management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and applications.
Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
Perform regular security updates, patches, and system upgrades.
Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
Configure and maintain virtualization technologies (e.g., Proxmox).
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist in IT project planning and implementation.
Provide technical support to users and resolve IT-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a System Administrator, or similar role.
Knowledge of version control software (e.g., Perforce).
In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux (macOS is a plus) operating systems,
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent English (B2 minimum)
Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA, MCDST are advantageous.
