Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage incident tickets / assigned tasks to completion in accordance with SLAs. Escalate to senior technical management when SLAs are likely to be breached
• Maintain state of mission critical servers running customer applications
• May test and deploy new solutions
• May manage databases
• Analyse and troubleshoot faults and make recommendations as to the most effective course of action
• Provide support to other internal teams
• Proactively monitor servers and related infrastructure
• Provide support on patching of critical servers as well as upgrades
• Troubleshoot network problems and outages; may maintain network cabling including installation
• May be required to configure and install equipment
• Execute planned changes through the change management process
• Liaise with and manage third party providers of systems as required
• Provides end user training on systems as required
