Job Description

This role involves working with customers to integrate Intel products into their client and edge systems, enabling customers to design and develop products, troubleshooting and debugging issues, building customer-facing demonstrations, providing training, and working with engineering and product design teams. The candidate will collaborate within a global organization, contributing to the design and support of computer platforms for various Intel products and participating in projects like new product development. The individual is expected to work in a team and be able to communicate with both customers and engineers to resolve complex issues and drive innovation.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
  • Electronic debug skills.
  • Understanding of x86 PC Architecture.
  • Experience with computer interfaces PCIe, USB, etc.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

We're looking for someone who has a keen interest in computer hardware (and software) and wants to do hands-on work developing and supporting future computing platforms (including servers, client and graphics), with the ability to grow their knowledge and continuously learn as the role and technology evolve.
 

The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a team, talk to both our customers and engineers and work through complex problems and innovate. You will be a member of a team which specialises in the design and support of computer platforms (both software/hardware) for a wide range of next-generation Intel products supporting major European customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with customers to help them integrate Intel products into their client and edge systems
  • Working with our sales and engineering teams to enable our customers to design and develop products
  • Troubleshooting with issue replication and debugging
  • Building customer-facing demonstrations and proof of concepts to help customers see the value of Intel technology
  • Providing training to customers and sales teams
  • Working with and influencing engineering and product design teams
  • Working within a global organisation with teams based in multiple time zones

There is an opportunity to get involved in other exciting projects outside of day-to-day responsibilities, such as:

  • Participating in new product development, representing the customers' technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, and developing and presenting technical product training materials and demonstrations

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
  • Ideally you have already gained your first experience in supporting technical designs (motherboards, systems)
  • Demonstrable electronic debug skills
  • Have a fundamental understanding of x86 PC Architecture
  • Experience with computer interfaces PCIe, USB, etc.
  • Some experience in providing customer support
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative, effectively communicate and collaborate
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Genuine passion for technology and a curiosity to understand how it works, with a hands-on approach
