Philips is seeking a System Designer - Image Chain in Pune. This role involves analyzing and troubleshooting testing failures, developing and implementing new product designs for medical devices, and participating in CI/CD framework development. Key responsibilities include specifying, testing, and integrating image chain components, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards, and managing the lifecycle of these components. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers, and evaluating new technologies to achieve target cost and image quality.

Must Have:- Analyze and troubleshoot testing failures, documenting them in the anomaly database.
- Develop and implement new product designs and design improvements for medical devices.
- Participate in the technical development of a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment framework.
- Conduct preliminary studies and modify subsystem designs, deriving specifications from customer requirements.
- Specify image chain requirements and test/verify image chain components (Generator, Tube, Collimator, Detector, Monitor).
- Be responsible for integrating image chain components, adjustment & calibration, and system verification.
- Be responsible for selection and lifecycle management of image chain components, including obsolescence.
- Perform detailed technical design for components, including DFMEA and Risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional/cross-regional teams and align with suppliers on requirements.
- Electrical/Electronic/Biomedical background (B.Tech/M.tech) with 8+ years’ experience.
- Understanding X-ray Physics and image processing knowledge on medical images.
- Strong understanding of Medical QMS and lifecycle management processes.
- Understanding medical standards like IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-3, IEC 60601-2-54.
- Detailed/Structured documentation practices and analytical/logical problem-solving.
