The Digital Master Gunner Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining Command and Control (C2) systems, configuring C2 networks and servers, and ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest patches. Responsibilities include performing maintenance on C2 systems in classroom and data center environments, configuring C2 networks, and monitoring server functionality. The role requires logging system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network and server operations are efficient. The administrator will also be responsible for the setup, initialization, and operation of various C2 systems. Additionally, the candidate must possess clear communication skills, work independently and as part of a team, and adhere to established guidelines.

Job Details

Role Summary The Digital Master Gunner Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing maintenance on Command and Control (C2) systems, configuring C2 networks and servers, ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest operating systems and patches, logging system performance and corrective actions, and monitoring server functionality and utilization. Responsibilities Perform operator and depot level maintenance on Command and Control (C2) Systems in the classroom and supporting data center. Configure various C2 Networks support the MCDMG Course and other C2 training venues Configure Servers for the operating system for each MCDMG C2 system. Ensure networks operate with current versions of network operating systems, patches, and system domain changes. Log of systems availability, downtime, and any corrective measures. Monitor server utilization and functionality. Education/Experience/Required Clearance: Functional knowledge and be proficient in the setup, initialization, and operation of the following C2 systems and technologies: Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) Army Missile Defense Warning System (AMDWS) Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) SharePoint Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) Windows Tactical Assault Kit (WINTAK) Global Command and Control System – Army (GCCS-A) Must hold a Secret Level Personal Security Clearance. Other Qualifications: Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Submit to required background checks Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
