Software DevOps Engineer
You will be part of the Software Research and Development Area in Varginha/MG, a team with global operations. You will work directly in the area responsible for the development and maintenance of medical products, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring area (currently working on general and obstetric multi-parameter monitors).
Your role:
- Contribute to automating software development processes, aiming to accelerate release cycles and strengthen feedback loops, promoting a more agile development environment.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of robust version control systems, quality/security analysis, and CI/CD pipelines, essential components that ensure continuous and secure code delivery from development to production environments.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of build and deploy automation scripts, working to optimize workflows, increasing efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with the development team to effectively manage code releases and quickly resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Integrate into the learning process related to DevOps methodologies and best practices, leveraging opportunities to increase team productivity and improve the quality of deliveries.
- Understand customer requirements and contribute insights to align DevOps initiatives with broader business objectives, increasing the overall value of deliveries.
- Play a role in data-driven decision-making processes, actively gathering and analyzing pertinent metrics, assisting in identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Adopt a proactive stance towards professional development, actively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and expertise in DevOps technologies and methodologies, promoting personal and team growth.
You are the right person if you have:
- Complete higher education in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software, Control and Automation or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills, great initiative, continuous improvement mindset and focus on the needs of our customers (Hospitals and Patients);
- Constant desire to acquire new knowledge and develop skills.
- +3 years of experience in software product development.
- Intermediate English desirable.
- Knowledge in: Linux, Build Servers, CI/CD, Git, Python or other scripting language, Groovy Scripts, Makefile.
- Knowledge in C/C++, C# are differentials.
- Familiarity with tools like Docker, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Artifactory are desirable.
