Banyan Software is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to identify, engage, and hire top-tier talent across various functions including Business Development, M&A, Product, Finance, and Operations. The role involves collaborating with senior leaders, advising on talent market dynamics, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process from intake to offer. Responsibilities include crafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates using various tools, ensuring a positive candidate experience, building talent pipelines, screening candidates, partnering with hiring teams for interviews, acting as a brand ambassador, developing competitive offers, and tracking recruitment metrics. The company is focused on acquiring and growing enterprise software businesses globally.
Must have:
  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Proven track record hiring senior-level, technical, commercial roles
  • Strong sourcing and assessment capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Comfortable working across time zones and geographies
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Role: Talent Acquisition Partner 

Location: Melbourne, ANZ (Hybrid 2+ days per week)

Reporting to: Director, Global Talent Acquisition 

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent across multiple functions, from Business Development and M&A to Product, Finance, and Operating Company Operational roles. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the organization, acting as both a talent advisor and tested resource to support the company’s strategic hiring priorities.

What You’ll Do

Talent Acquisition Partner

  • Collaborate with leaders across various teams to deeply understand their hiring needs and long-term talent goals
  • Advise on talent market dynamics, role scoping, and recruitment strategies to drive optimal outcomes
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process from intake to offer and checking in for key roles across multiple business functions
  • Craft compelling job descriptions and sourcing strategies tailored to niche talent profiles
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience, including but not limited to timely feedback, clarity, and professionalism throughout
  • Proactively build and manage diverse talent pipelines leveraging a variety of sources (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean sourcing, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Conduct market research to identify top talent across geographies and functions
  • Screen and assess candidates through structured interviews, technical assessments, and work samples
  • Partner with hiring teams to run effective and unbiased interview processes
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Banyan and our portfolio companies; articulate our values, culture, and mission to attract top talent
  • Help evolve our employer brand presence in key talent markets
  • Partner with HR and hiring leaders to develop competitive offers and close top candidates
  • Facilitate seamless transitions from offer acceptance through onboarding
  • Track recruiting activity, analyze funnel metrics, and share insights to continuously improve hiring performance
  • Provide reporting and updates to internal stakeholders on hiring pipelines and trend
  • Contribute to cross-functional TA projects (e.g., DEI, referral programs, interview training)
  • Recommend improvements to tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth, multi-function environment
  • Proven track record hiring for a variety of roles, including senior-level, technical, and commercial positions
  • Strong sourcing and assessment capabilities, with a bias for proactive outreach and market intelligence
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—able to influence and advise at all levels
  • Comfortable working across time zones and geographies; global recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (Greenhouse is a plus), sourcing tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Notion)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or a related field
