The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment to attract and hire high-quality candidates across various departments. This role partners closely with hiring managers and the HR team to develop sourcing strategies, ensure a positive candidate experience, and meet the organization's staffing goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include managing job postings, resume screening, phone screens, interview coordination, offer negotiation, developing sourcing strategies, maintaining candidate information in the ATS, participating in job fairs, and ensuring a strong candidate experience and compliance with legal requirements.

Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment to attract and hire high-quality candidates across various departments. This role partners closely with hiring managers and the HR team to develop sourcing strategies, ensure a positive candidate experience, and meet the organization's staffing goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screening, phone screens, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.

  • Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.

  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and community outreach efforts.

  • Ensure a strong candidate experience through consistent communication and feedback.

  • Partner with Sourcers and HR colleagues to manage high-volume or priority openings.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to hiring and employment practices.

  • Support onboarding efforts by collaborating with HR and hiring managers as needed.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Able to source and identify candidates with understanding of qualification experience

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practices.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision, using sound judgment to know when to involve others or ask for guidance

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Behavioral Based Interview skills

  • Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong organization skills with attention to details

  • Fast learner able to work in fast-paced environment

Position Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Some college or associate’s degree preferred

Experience:

2+ years of high-volume staffing/recruiting background including management of administrative functions related to talent acquisition, preferrable in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); familiarity with Workday preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
