Job Description

Create communications materials for Aptiv’s learning portfolio, working with Employee Branding and Communications teams to drive impactful campaigns and measure their effectiveness. Serve as a primary source of information on learning offerings for HR and L&D communities globally, and act as the first point of contact for HRIS and business queries. Optimize the use of the Learning Management System by organizing training sessions, sharing best practices, and developing reports. Administer training assignments, provide instructional design recommendations, and design impactful eLearnings. Implement global learning programs by curating relevant portfolios for all business functions. Leverage tools to recommend strategic training interventions and partner with HR, L&D, and business teams to maximize the benefits of L&D offerings. Proactively identify process improvements, challenge the status quo, and support a global learning database. Manage training suppliers, ensure maximum investment, and select new vendors strategically. Conduct trainings and workshops, influence the strategy of Learning & Skills Capability, and standardize processes.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Create communications materials supporting the deployment of Aptiv’s learning portfolio. Work creatively with Employee Branding, Employee Experience & Communications teams to drive best in class campaigns. Measure their impact & articulate to key stakeholders within & outside of Learning & Skills Capability Team.
  • Be the trusted source of guidance and information on Learning offering for the HR & L&D community around the globe.
  • Be the first point of contact for HRIS & Business queries towards L&SC team.
  • Make the best use of the Learning Management System, driving its adoption across the globe by cooperating closely with HRIS in organizing training sessions, sharing best practice tips, working on developing relevant reports & live dashboards.
  • Administer training assignments.
  • Provide instructional design recommendations & work for internal trainers conducting Aptiv-wide activities.
  • Design roadmap driven as well as on-demand eLearnings that have Aptiv-wide impact.
  • Implement global Learning Programs by curating relevant portfolio for all the business functions.
  • Leverage tools & models available (i.e. Job Architecture framework, Coursera & LinkedIn Skills Reports, training uptake reports) to recommend relevant & strategic training interventions.
  • Partner with the wider HR, L&D & Business teams to maximize the benefits of a robust L&D offering to all employees.
  • Proactively identify improvement areas in existing processes and drive across-Aptiv process optimization, bravely challenge the status quo by making suggestions for change.
  • Support the global database of Learning – making it accessible, up to date & value-adding to partners around the globe
  • Support in managing training suppliers, ensuring we maximize the investment already made, and making laser-sharp strategic selections of new vendors.
  • Conduct trainings & workshops to a defined audience.
  • Influence the strategy of Learning & Skills Capability at Aptiv
  • Influence standardization of processes.
