Instructor for classroom, instrument ground trainer and flight training activities. Conduct ground and flight simulator training for trainees at SIMCOM. Evaluate trainees' progress, maintain competency, and uphold professionalism. Demonstrate competent instructional knowledge, learn new skills, evaluate training needs, and employ creative teaching methods. Maximize resource use and personalize instruction to optimize learning and satisfy customer needs.

  • Airline experience glass cockpit preferred.

  • A current CFI certificate with multi-engine instrument ratings is required for full time employment.

You must demonstrate competent instructional knowledge in a dynamic learning environment.

Effectively evaluate customer training needs and proficiently coach and instruct. Employ creative and innovative teaching methods.

Attain applicable ratings and qualifications in an economical and timely manner. A current CFI certificate with multi-engine instrument ratings is required for full time employment.

Any loss of certificate privileges may result in permanent dismissal from the company.

SimCom offers training for its’ customers seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.

The utilization of your instructional services will be scheduled in accordance with customer training needs.

Although normal expectations of a work day/week length are typically that which you might expect, understand you may be assigned duties any time we are open for business, with compensatory time-off awarded in accordance with the SimCom personnel handbook.

You are normally closer to the customer than any other associate.

Be sensitive to individual needs and respond proactively.

Your thinking and decision making should be on the basis of common sense and within the context of our Mission and Strategy.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Education, prior work experience, and specialized skill and knowledge:

  • Bachelors’ degree a must.
  • Time by aircraft type and licenses required.
  • CFI/II, training center evaluator (capable),
  • Airline experience glass cockpit preferred.
