This role is to support the Site Team Leader or Supervisor by leading a shift within a depot or mobile and acting as the main focal point for preventive and corrective activities within a shift. Take line management responsibility for the engineers within the shift. Deputise for the Site Team Leader or Supervisor as and when required. To embrace digitalisation.
- Proactive involvement in the Company’s HSQE management processes. Submit observation/near miss reports and encourage others in the team to do so as well. Support investigations into observation/near misses, accidents or incidents.
- Perform preventative and corrective scheduled maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
- Actively participate in the ongoing continuous improvement activities for both maintenance and procedures.
- Attend and participate in meetings with the customer where necessary to obtain sign off for work that has been carried out on the customers equipment.
- Undertake fault finding and repair when required using appropriate technical information (e.g. Technical drawings and fault finding guides).
- Completion of relevant documentation for all work carried out in order to accurately record activities that are recorded for the company and the customer.
- To participate in 24/7 shift working including callout when required.
- Control and motivation of the team in order to maximise the available hours and to assist when required with technical and product support issues.
- When necessary order parts and completion of documentation.
- Ensure all team members are complying with the Rolls-Royce Quality and Environmental standards. Monitor team competence and take appropriate action for shortfalls.
- Providing technical support to team members as and when required.
- Conduct quality and competency inspections as necessary.

Computer Skills -
proficient in Microsoft Office, able to work with varied cloud based applications.
Literacy and Numeracy -
Must be a competent writer of business letters, emails and engineering reports.
