Job Summary

Job Description

Responsible to the General Supervisor of Final Assembly Manufacturing or MFG Manager for the administration of the production line or assigned area to fulfill production plans and meet Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives in a stable work environment. This includes planning and executing manufacturing crews, ensuring daily labor efficiency, tracking hourly control, and fulfilling objectives for labor efficiency, quality, and delivery. The role also involves knowledge of quality analysis tools, ensuring data collection, defining alarm limits, reacting to data, meeting FTQ metrics, implementing corrective actions, identifying scrap causes, and managing scrap segregation and action plans.
Must have:
  • Administer production line for Quality, Delivery, Cost objectives.
  • Plan and execute manufacturing crews.
  • Ensure daily labor efficiency.
  • Track hourly control and document actions.
  • Meet Labor Efficiency, Quality, Delivery objectives.
  • Utilize Quality analysis tools.
  • Ensure data collection, frequency, and documentation.
  • Define alarm limits and action plans.
  • Collect data, react, and meet FTQ metrics.
  • Implement process corrective actions.
  • Identify causes of scrap.
  • Segregate and deliver scrap daily.
  • Define action plan for scrap outside objective.
  • Implement, measure, and proliferate improvement actions.
  • Knowledge of e-rework system.
  • Detect and identify non-conforming product.
  • Define rework method with quality and engineering.
  • Manage rework (people, methods, materials) safely and productively.
  • Conduct process audits per procedure and checklist.
  • Define action plans for non-conforming points.
  • Capture audit in defined system.
  • Execute Safety Observation Tour (SOT).
  • Develop action plans for unsafe conditions/acts.
  • Actively participate in safety walks.
  • Knowledge and participation in OSA Flow 5 - DEEDS - Final Assembly.

FTQ

  • Knowledge of Quality analysis tools.

  • Defining and implementing corrective actions for the process.

Scrap Handling Segregation and Management

  • Identification of scrap causes.
  • Scrap must be segregated and delivered daily.
  • Defining an action plan for scrap outside objective.
  • Implementing improvement actions, measuring effectiveness, and proliferation.

Rework

  • Knowledge of rework system (e-rework).
  • Detecting, identifying non-conforming product.
  • Defining the rework method in conjunction with quality and engineering.
  • Managing rework (people, methods, materials) for safe and productive execution.

Layered Audit Process

  • Conducting process audits according to established procedure with checklist.
  • Defining action plans for non-conforming points.
  • Capturing audit in defined system.

Safety Observation Tour Process

  • Executing the SOT.
  • Action plans to eliminate unsafe conditions and acts.
  • Active participation in safety walks.

OSA Flow 5 - DEEDS - Final Assembly

  • Knowledge and participation in OSA.
