Technical Consultant – Enterprise Informatics (m/f/d)
As a Technical Consultant, you will deploy and support IT solutions such as Advanced visualization (AV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for radiology, offered by the Philips Health IT division. These information management solutions help medical teams to better take care of millions of patients.
Your role:
- With these information management solutions, you will be able to help medical teams to better take care of millions of patients
- As part of the Enterprise Informatics Operation team, you will join a dedicated Clinical informatics team of project managers, and you work closely with the teams of technical and application consultants and interact with the sales teams
- You will interact with healthcare professionals mainly in Radiology as well as with hospital IT departments to integrate our AV/AI solution into the hospital clinical workflow
- Your responsibilities will involve installing, configuring, and upgrading CI IT solutions, managing remote support and customer calls, validating prerequisites, and deploying technical solutions as per project schedules. You will also be providing detailed technical documentation, ensuring successful production deployment, communicating user feedback for system improvements, reviewing customer feedback for engineering recommendations, and participating in retrospectives for future improvements
- You will be required to travel up to 50% of our time, mostly across Germany but some travel to Switzerland and Austria can be expected

You're the right fit if:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Business or Engineering OR Vocational Education or equivalent.
- No prior experience required with Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Technical Consulting, Customer Support, Healthcare Industry or equivalent.
- You have knowledge of IT infrastructure hardware such as servers, storage, and network devices
- You have knowledge and proven experience with Windows client, server, and network systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
- You have good analytical skills for troubleshooting IT issues
- You hold a basic knowledge of virtualization on VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.
- You have a strong client, solution and result orientation focus
- You are fluent in German and have a good level of English
- You have excellent communication and customer management skills that enable dialogue with stakeholders with varying technical expertise
- You are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
The knowledge on the topics mentioned below will be considered an advantage:
- Knowledge of clinical IT transmission protocols (e.g., DICOM, Health Level 7, Internet protocols such as SMTP, HTTP, etc.); basic knowledge of IHE
- Knowledge of healthcare IT environments, hospital workflows, and operations
- Knowledge of databases (MS SQL Server).
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
