Job Description

Be a point of reference for our customers for technical aspects, ensuring high quality services in the Medical IT arena, work from a high competences European Customer Service Center. This role involves understanding performance expectations, collaborating with various teams, providing technical direction and support, maintaining databases, offering advice on software/hardware, and interfacing with R&D for bug reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Biomedical Engineering, over 2 years of experience, and strong technical skills in databases, integration components, Microsoft Server, VMware, and medical standards like DICOM and HL7.
Must have:
  • Clearly understand performance expectations in terms of technical services and support.
  • Meet with EDI services, applications and sales teams as required to provide customer feedback, assist with project plans and align schedules.
  • Assist in providing technical direction and support to Application and Testing teams.
  • Support the EDI Incident Support team in the accumulation and distribution of technical information.
  • Keep Philips EDI service information database updated.
  • Provide technical advice on software and hardware upgrades and changes to setup and functionalities.
  • Interface to the Research & Development teams for software bug reporting.
  • Bachelor degree in Informatics, Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
  • Over 2 year experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in database design, implementation/development, administration, dataguard, backups and recovery, tuning, oracle Programming Language, (PL/SQL developer).
  • Experience of development of simple integration components (COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, HL7, etc).
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server, Vmware and HiperV solution.
  • Understanding/knowledge of Medical Standards: DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise.

You are responsible to

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server, Vmware and HiperV solution
  • Understanding/knowledge of Medical Standards: DICOM, Health Level Seven (HL7) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise
  • Availability to travel in the country or accross Europe (for instance, trainings in Italy)
