Job Description

As an Agile Delivery Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Agile Delivery Managers to drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices and facilitate the smooth operational running of the business. You will be involved in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies will enable you to guide global teams in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation. You will also be responsible for planning and delivering strategic programs within the AWS platform engineering team, leading cross-functional planning, and overseeing execution in an Agile way.

Role profile:

As an Agile Delivery Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Agile Delivery Managers to drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and to facilitate the smooth operational running of our business. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies and your strong leadership skills will enable you to guide complex global teams and customers in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Plan, mobilise and deliver a strategic programme of work in our AWS platform engineering team
  • Delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning and overseeing execution
  • Lead planning events, virtually and in person.  Oversee the preparation activities and execution
  • Champion the consistent application of performance metrics and tooling to create transparency and diagnose warning signs.
  • Contribute to the wider running of the business, including resource planning, budgeting, reporting and operational tasks such as achieving compliance to LSEG policies.
  • Serve as an advocate for agile adoption and enable the growth in agile maturity by identifying the stepping stones of change that lead to a high performing operation
  • Oversee the financial processes of the function, and compliance to tracking processes

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Demonstrable experience in working with AWS platform engineering teams
  • Experience of working with AWS in an Engineering leadership role
  • Significant experience of shaping and delivering programmes of work, delivered in an Agile framework
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distil complex problems into engaging and concise visuals using Microsoft Powerpoint

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proven experience working with AWS Platform Engineering teams
  • Good understanding of AWS Cloud Technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning events and other Agile ceremonies
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to influence senior business customers with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience
