Job Description

We are looking for a student or recent graduate (maximum one year after school) to join our Radar team. The role involves electromagnetic (EM) simulations and optimizing radar placement in vehicle bumpers. Key responsibilities include performing EM simulations in CST Studio, working with CAD data, assessing antenna beam patterns, evaluating simulation results, and preparing technical reports. The ideal candidate should have basic experience with EM simulations, knowledge of RF technologies, and communicative English. This is a part-time trainee position for students or recent graduates in electrical engineering fields.

We are looking for a student or recent graduate (maximum one year after school) to join our Radar team and participate in electromagnetic (EM) simulations and optimization of radar placement in vehicle bumpers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Performing electromagnetic simulations in CST Studio for analysis and optimization of radar sensor placement in a vehicle bumper.
  • Working with CAD data – simulating radar and bumper interaction, evaluating the impact of sensor placement.
  • Assessing antenna radiation patterns (beam pattern) and identifying optimal configurations.
  • Evaluating simulation results and preparing technical reports with recommendations.
  • Supporting the System Engineer in checking and validating requirements (REQ).
  • Participating in development activities in the field of EM simulations and radar systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field (electrical, RF, telecommunications, mechatronics, etc.).
  • Basic experience with EM simulations in CST Studio.
  • Knowledge of RF technology principles, antennas, and radiation characteristics (beam pattern).
  • Interest in electromagnetic simulations, wave propagation, and radar system design.
  • Communicative knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Analytical thinking, thoroughness, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Interest in automotive technologies, radar sensors, and ADAS systems.
