Principal or Sr. Lead Technical Writer

The Content Experience (CX) team is seeking a Principal Content Strategist to drive and scale customer-facing content strategy across clouds with a focus on unifying the power of Industries, Revenue, and Apps functionality. In a time when the synthesis of Salesforce products and clouds has never been more important, we need a senior-level strategic thinker who intimately understands “the box,” but who is not at all afraid to think outside of it. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring our customer-facing content is optimized, maintainable, and designed for the future of information discovery in the agentic era. Key areas of focus include content readiness for Generative AI and delivering integrated, scenario-based guidance grounded in business context and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD).
You’re a natural, hands-on leader who enjoys both executing and managing complex initiatives, while always maintaining a compassionate eye, ear, and heart for our end users. You’ll work with other leaders across the organization to develop and push key strategic projects over the finish line, leverage data and research to improve the ratings of our most-used content, and directly support product- and cloud-level content strategists. You’ll also serve as a mentor, architect, stakeholder influencer, and cross-organizational partner, on a team where every job is about winning together.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $257,600.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $281,100.
