Reports To: Director of Data Engineering
We are seeking an expert Technical Program Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of a critical initiative sought at modernizing our enterprise data warehouse using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. This role requires a blend of agile leadership, technical acumen, and team member management to ensure the successful execution of this critical project.
Program Leadership: Be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of the data warehouse modernization project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business partners, data engineers, and architects to capture requirements, handle expectations, and ensure visibility throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Oversight: Work closely with technical teams to ensure the architecture and implementation align with standard methodologies for Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and impediments, proactively addressing them to minimize impact on project delivery.
Reporting: Maintain clear and concise documentation of project progress, including status reports, dashboards, and metrics to advise partners and leadership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in program/project management roles, with at least 3 years in agile environments.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics) and Microsoft Fabric.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
Tools: Proficiency in project management and agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
Soft Skills: Superb communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely in a multi-functional, multicultural environment.
