Applies technical background/specialized technology domain knowledge to manage complex projects and/or programs that are directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology solutions/services.

Collaborates across organizations to develop detailed technology documentation, training, and videos while ensuring adherence to schedule, and scope. Is a candidate passionate about Technical Writing/Editing who can work with technical subject matter experts to create, edit, review, and publish documents and trainings.

Job Responsibilities will include:-

  • Working hands-on on projects of moderate to high complexity to gather raw technical inputs from subject matter experts to prepare easy-to-understand, error-free technical user guides, manuals, training, and methodology documents, trainings and videos containing text, data, drawings, and images.
  • Planning, managing, and executing technical documentation and learning projects related to specific semiconductor technology product offerings. Have decision making authority at the project level. Lead the project as an expert in handling DITA XML editors, Word, or PowerPoint-based content and illustrations.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to determine the appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage. Recommending and implementing changes to content for better understanding by the target audience.
  • Assessing risks and identifying issues and solutions to achieve program goals while maintaining high quality standards. Monitoring progress against schedule and taking remedial action as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Designing, writing, production editing, or publishing technical documentation.
  • XML/DITA-based authoring tools.
  • Deep expertise in MS PowerPoint
  • Must possess one of the following:
  • A bachelor's degree in English, technical writing or technical communication or a STEM discipline with 4+ years of experience in the areas listed below, or
  • A master's degree in English, technical writing or technical communication or a STEM discipline with 3+ years of experience in the areas listed below, or
  • A Ph. D. degree in English, technical writing or technical communication or a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience in the areas listed under Preferred Qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to follow publishing style guidelines.
  • Proficiency with DITA-based authoring tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, or other illustration tools
