Role Description:
The Technology Resilience Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology resilience initiatives. Acting as a subject matter expert, the Advisor provides insights and recommendations to ensure the organization's IT systems remain robust, recoverable, and aligned with business continuity objectives.
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver resilience programs that minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
The role is based in Paris and with influence with resources mainly based in London and Bucharest. The role reports to the Incidents and Technology Resilience Manager of LCH SA.
The regulated nature of LCH SA and the additional oversight and governance that this brings will give the successful candidates a unique opportunity to work within an organisation that is Critical Financial Markets Infrastructure and systemically important to the clearing requirements of our European members. The successful candidate will focus on transversal projects and have a multifaceted role that requires a deep understanding of our core business and the ability to lead cross technical and functional initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on the development and execution of technology resilience strategies and programs.
Support the assessment, testing, and improvement of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system resilience, including fault tolerance, high availability, and failover processes.
Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improving IT resilience.
Monitor the effectiveness of resilience initiatives and recommend adjustments to align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and leadership to communicate resilience program progress and challenges.
Participate in resilience drills and simulations, ensuring learnings are incorporated into future plans.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in incident management, technology risk, or IT resilience within a financial services environment.
Previous experience of working within, or with an IT Service Management function
Proactive, determined and resilient, with a positive attitude
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and application management in the context of financial institutions.
Proven experience leading complex incident response efforts in a high-pressure environment, with strong decision-making skills under stress.
Ability to rapidly assess, prioritize, and manage incidents, balancing immediate resolution with long-term strategic resilience.
Deep knowledge of financial regulatory requirements related to operational resilience, such as the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
Experience conducting technology risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present complex information to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.
Excellent delivery-focused, results-orientated approach.
