Position Overview

As a Tencent Cloud Storage Product Architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge storage solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with sales and pre-sales teams, understanding customer requirements, and architecting technical solutions across block storage, file storage, logging, and observability domains. You will be instrumental in developing clear technical plans and implementation strategies tailored to various industries, ensuring seamless transitions and successful project outcomes. Your expertise will drive product innovation through continuous feedback to our R&D teams, keeping abreast of industry trends and technological advancements. Additionally, you will advocate for our solutions both internally and externally, promoting best practices and contributing to the competitiveness of our offerings in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Technical Solutions: Collaborate with sales and industry pre-sales teams to understand customer needs and business objectives. Provide technical consulting and support, delivering tailored solutions in block storage, file storage, logging, and observability.
• Project Implementation: Develop comprehensive technical and delivery plans based on diverse industry requirements. Offer optimal recommendations and migration strategies aligned with customers' existing architectures, ensuring successful implementation.
• Requirement Feedback: Monitor industry and market trends, partnering closely with product research and development teams to drive continuous product enhancements and innovations.
• Solution Consolidation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, comprehensively understanding competitors to maintain the competitiveness of solutions.
• Product Advocacy: Champion products, solutions, and best practices internally to industry sales and pre-sales teams. External promotion through industry events and conferences, continually updating and refining sales tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in cloud computing and storage, with expertise in logging or observability. Experience in public cloud pre-sales or solution architecture highly desired.
• Proficiency in distributed systems, storage technologies, network protocols, and observability solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English as the working language, adept at engaging with customers and internal stakeholders across different organizational levels. Proficiency in Chinese Mandarin would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of independently resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and innovative mindset. Strong self-learning capabilities to stay current with evolving technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public cloud certifications, including Tencent Cloud Certifications.
• Expertise in storage, networking, and observability domains.
