Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and monitor automated test scripts to ensure software quality and stability.
- Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive automation strategy, integrating automated testing into the overall QA process.
- Design and develop new or enhanced test automation frameworks and solutions that align with business and technical needs.
- Create, maintain, and analyze automated test reports and metrics dashboards to measure testing efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure testability and automation coverage across all software layers.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation tools or frameworks as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay up to date with evolving testing methodologies and tools to enhance automation capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.
- Proven experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts (not just understanding them).
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright (mandatory or strong plus).
- Solid understanding of Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and Oracle technologies.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test frameworks, and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Experience in evaluating and implementing test automation tools and frameworks across different platforms.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing or API testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
