Job Description

The Test Automation Engineer works in cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). They analyze requirements, design and execute automated tests, collaborate with stakeholders, and track defects. They ensure applications' functionality, performance, and reliability before deployment. This role requires meticulous testing processes to maintain high standards of product excellence and contribute to user satisfaction. The engineer also provides feedback for process improvement and maintains test scripts. They must deliver test results on time and create comprehensive reports.
Must have:
  • 1+ years of experience in automation testing or software development
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar
  • Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking systems
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Job Description

Job Description: 
Our Automation Testers work in cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from test planning and execution to defect tracking. They ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment, using a deep understanding of various applications, databases, and operating systems. Our Automation Testers maintain high standards of product excellence and contribute to overall user satisfaction through meticulous testing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review functional and technical requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform different types of testing to ensure software is thoroughly vetted before release.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and retest as necessary.
  • Provide feedback to improve test processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Maintain and update automated test scripts based on evolving application functionality.
  • Ensure timely delivery of test results and create comprehensive test reports.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in automation testing or software development.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, performance testing).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with test management and defect tracking systems like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Would be consider as a plus if you are:

  • Familiar with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experienced in performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile team.
