Responsbilities / Responsabilités:

Award-winning TiMi Studio Group seeks a Network Programmer to develop a AAA, open-world game using Unreal’s latest technology. The project will be released on multiple platforms, with an objective to reach a global audience. As a Network Programmer, you will work closely with our gameplay and online teams to build the core experience of our players, making sure it is as responsive and seamless as it can be.

What will you do?

 

  • Collaborate with other engineers to enhance the game's network replication.

  • Optimize networking systems to reduce latency and improve gameplay experience.

  • Educate content creators and gameplay engineers on network reliability and replication techniques to maximize the game's performance.

  • Develop networking code to interact with backend systems for new gameplay features and data collection.

  • Maintain and extend documentation on network-oriented features and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing among the team.

  • Debug and optimize existing gameplay networking to identify and resolve issues affecting the network performance.

  • Provide best estimates of tasks required to deliver the features.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

  • Collaborate daily with a variety of production and support teams.

 

Requirements / Exigences:

What we are looking for?

 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in games development

  • Shipped at least one AAA game as a network programmer on consoles (PS4/PS5, Xbox)

  • An excellent understanding of common game technologies, processes and software development.

  • Excellent in self-managing workloads through Jira or another tracking methodology.

  • Excellent in identifying issues and proposing solutions.

  • A BS (Bachelor of Science) degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with Unreal Online 4 or 5 (preferable).
