Job Description
Apple is looking for a Tools and Automation Engineer for its Trust and Safety organization. This role is responsible for fostering trust, safety, and fairness across Apple's products and services by implementing technical solutions and addressing challenges such as account fraud, spam, and service integrity. The Tools & Automation Engineering team ensures product and service quality by refining quality assurance processes, enforcing quality and release standards, and developing testing tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality applications quickly and confidently.
Good To Have:
- Experience in machine learning platform development or testing
- Experience in quality assurance of Apple applications (iOS, macOS, visionOS, watchOS)
- Experience with XCTest, XCUITest frameworks
Must Have:
- Proficient in Python, Scala, Swift, or Java
- Experience with container and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)
- Experience with data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, Flink)
- Ability to triage problems, prioritize, and propose solutions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- Proficient in Python, Scala, Swift, or Java.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
