We seek a passionate Tools & Automation Engineer to deliver industry-leading battery performance for next-generation hardware and software. As part of the Power and Performance team, you'll innovate by developing sophisticated tools and automated testing frameworks. You'll work with cutting-edge platforms, validating and modeling power characteristics to define the user experience and ensure exceptional battery performance.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Develop and maintain test automation
  • Execute automated and manual tests
  • Engage with cross-functional team members to drive design and implementation
  • Bring up dev boards, set up and maintain pool of dev boards for power measurement and analysis
  • Develop tools to aid the day-to-day activities
Good to have:
  • Experience in testing and validating power systems, with deep understanding of battery technologies and power management
  • Technical expertise in hardware testing methodologies and power measurement techniques

We're looking for a passionate Tools & Automation Engineer to join our mission of delivering industry-leading battery performance for next-generation hardware and software products. THE OPPORTUNITY As a Tools & Automation Engineer on our Power and Performance team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, developing the sophisticated tools and automated testing frameworks that ensure our customers experience the exceptional battery performance is known for. You'll work directly with cutting-edge hardware and software platforms before they reach the world, playing a critical role in validating and modeling the power characteristics that define the user experience.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test suites to validate battery life across upcoming hardware and software products Build automated testing infrastructure that scales across multiple product lines and configurations Develop robust Python-based test automation scripts that revolutionize how we validate power consumption Create tools that enable rapid iteration and continuous validation throughout the product development cycle

  • Develop and maintain test automation

  • Engage with cross-functional team members to drive design and implementation

  • Develop tools to aid the day-to-day activities

  • Strong Python programming skills with demonstrated experience writing test automation scripts and frameworks
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment, collaborating with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience in testing and validating power systems, with deep understanding of battery technologies and power management
  • Technical expertise in hardware testing methodologies and power measurement techniques

At , base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
