The UAE Commercial Manager (OTC) will manage OTC & Wellness distributors and Key Account Managers to drive profit and growth in the UAE, landing future strategies and Route to Market, and ensuring excellence in execution. Key responsibilities include accelerating growth and profit through sales opportunities and Net Revenue Management, delivering growth through collaboration with distributors, leading relationships with pharmacies, setting growth strategies, managing business interactions with distributors, growing OTC & Wellness business across various channels, managing spend within budget, owning the forecast, and ensuring adherence to commercial policies. This role requires strong commercial acumen, experience with key customers, distributor management, negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills.

About the role

The UAE Commercial Manager (OTC) will be managing OTC & Wellness distributors in the market as well as the Key Account Managers to deliver profit and growth to UAE business and landing future strategy and Route to Market, driving excellence in execution through distributors sales team.

Key responsibilities

  • Beining a key role in the commercial organization, accelerating growth and profit for UAE and for the total region through unlocking sales opportunities and driving Net Revenue Management.
  • Deliver growth through the collaboration with several distributors on different portfolios and ensuring the growth is coming from the most profitable SKUs
  • Lead the relationship with our Pharmacies Key Accounts to a partnership level and unlock growth opportunities while using the Customer Growth Framework segmentation. This will be achieved through coaching and mentoring KAMs to better manage and upgrade our relationships.
  • Look at portfolio mix opportunities to set a strategy for accelerated growth on high profit SKUs, as well as pricing initiatives for growth margin enhancement
  • Be the business owner for all business-related interactions with the distributors (quality, audit, finance, supply chain etc), and manage distributors end to end (agreement, screening, commercial terms, field force etc.)
  • Grow overall OTC & Wellness business from tender, to private, to hospitals, and be knowledgeable with UAE insurance landscape to be able to effectively manage the operation and increase the channels penetration.
  • Manage overall spend/G2N within allocated budget, ROI for different activation mechanics
  • Own the forecast of OTC/Wellness for the UAE market and ensure the alignment between Distributor and Haleon SC
  • Governance on Commercial hygiene and adherence to commercial policies (ATTP/TSF)

Qualifications and skills
