Job Description

The primary responsibility is to lead the OTC and Wellness Customer Marketing organization, making brands the first choice for customers. Key responsibilities include leading customer marketing strategy, supporting joint business planning, driving NPD Launch activations, leading CATMAN and other customer partnerships, leading and delivering a best-in-class activation calendar, leading OTC and Wellness Ecommerce overall strategy, leading digital data analysis, building ecommerce capabilities, planning and executing marketing/shopper calendar, building relationships with key customers, bringing further efficiencies in trade spends, utilizing shopper insights, and ensuring compliance.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years in FMCG (Commercial/Trade/Shopper/Ecommerce)
  • Knowledge of Channel and Category management tools
  • Experience in managing OTC products
  • Understanding of the Online route to consumers
  • Strong Communication and people management skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Experience in working across complex structures
  • Ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong commercial understanding/experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

About the role

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the OTC and Wellness Customer Marketing organisation and operations that helps make our brands first choice for our customers and shoppers. 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead customer marketing strategy on promotional, distribution & NRM projects based on Market data, shopper insights and/or retail analysis
  • Support joint business planning (development of customers/channel/brands activation plans)
  • Drive flawless NPD Launch activations with strategic planning, tracking & post evaluation
  • Lead CATMAN and other customer partnerships across markets to help drive category growths and maintain our market leadership across categories. Be the first choice for customers and consumers/shoppers
  • Lead and deliver a best-in-class activation and a promotional calendar in alignment with Country Managers & KAM’s for driving in store excellence
  • Lead OTC and Wellness Ecommerce overall strategy and deliver on FCP. Identify the right SKU, promotional and visibility mix to drive ecommerce growth
  • Lead digital data analysis and provide suggestions to improve business strategies.
  • Build capabilities on ecommerce throughout the organization that will enable us to be future ready
  • Plan and execute marketing/shopper calendar for assigned customers/channels/brands. (online and offline)
  • Build relationship with key customers (Internal and External) to help drive business strategies and objectives.
  • Bring further Efficiencies in Trade Spends (Offline and Online)
  • Deep understanding of the shopper’s decision tree, triggers and barriers based on the situation assessment analysis. Utilize insights to deliver customized plans.
  • Ensure compliance in all activities together with regulatory, Legal & Quality.
  • Align the progress and actions between all factions/customers through developing & managing CPS for all activities that we are planning and/or running.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • A university degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years in FMCG Organisation (Commercial / Trade / Shopper / Ecommerce)
  • Knowledge of Channel and Category management tools
  • Experience in managing OTC products
  • Understanding of the Online route to consumers and the customers
  • Strong Communication, leadership and people management skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Experience in working across complex organization structures
  • Ability to influence senior leaders towards desired outcome
  • Strong commercial understanding / experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
