About the Role

A growing game art production team is seeking a skilled UI/UX Artist to craft immersive and visually compelling user experiences for mobile games. The role involves designing intuitive interfaces, ensuring seamless gameplay interactions, and maintaining a strong artistic vision that aligns with the games branding. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with game designers, developers, and artists to create polished and engaging gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• UI Design: Create visually appealing interfaces, including menus, buttons, icons, and screens that align with the game's style.

• 2D Art Creation: Develop original illustrations, icons, and visual elements to enhance the user experience.

• Art Direction: Maintain a cohesive visual style that aligns with the games theme and branding.

• Asset Creation: Design and implement UI assets (icons, buttons, panels) to ensure consistency across the game.

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and artists to integrate UI/UX elements smoothly.

• Branding: Ensure design consistency to reinforce the game's visual identity.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong expertise in Illustrator, with knowledge of Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.

• Stylized Art Expertise: Ability to create UI designs that complement stylized game art styles.

• Cross-Platform Experience: Experience designing UI for mobile games; PC and console experience is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively.

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for visual consistency, color theory, and layout design.

• Creativity & Imagination: Ability to develop unique and appealing game-related icons and UI elements.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to creatively solve complex design challenges while keeping the user experience in focus.

• Additional Skills: Experience with motion graphics and detailed UI artwork creation is a plus.
