Position: Principal / Distinguished Engineer - Game Development

We are a mobile game development studio based in Bangalore, India. Our team is dedicated to creating high-quality and engaging games for mobile platforms. 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer to lead our technology team and drive the development of our mobile games.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unity, C#, and C++ and a passion for creating cutting-edge games. You will code up an entire game from scratch with/without the help of existing or acquired/bought modules.

While other engineers will be part of the team to code up specific features and pieces, this role is not an architectural/code-design role!

Responsibilities:

- Lead the technology team in developing and implementing game development strategies

- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure technical feasibility of game concepts

- Manage the development and maintenance of game engines and tools

- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and processes to improve game development efficiency

- Ensure the quality, performance, and stability of our games across various mobile platforms

- Mentor and guide team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in game development and an overall 10+ yrs of hands-on software engineering is a mandate. 

- Strong knowledge of Unity, C#, and C++

- Experience with mobile game development and optimization

- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality games

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Passion for gaming and staying updated with industry trends

Location:

This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The candidate must be willing to work from our office.
