Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial operations, compliance, and reporting for a fast-growing gaming product company. The role involves overseeing end-to-end finance operations, ensuring compliance with regulations like GST, Income Tax, and FEMA, managing IND-AS financial statements, driving internal controls, and coordinating Big4 audits. The ideal candidate will partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and work with cross-functional teams on financial compliance and business planning.
Must Have
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including MIS reporting, monthly/quarterly closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, FEMA regulations, and handle statutory filings.
- Manage IND-AS financial statements, consolidation, and audit support.
- Drive internal controls, process improvements, and financial discipline.
- Lead Big4 audit coordination, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and closure.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial health.
- Partner with business leaders and GMs to provide financial insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams on financial compliance and business planning.
- 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Strong knowledge of GST, FEMA, Income Tax, IND-AS, and corporate finance processes.
- Experience handling Big4 audits and statutory/compliance activities.
- Excellent skills in MIS, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP/finance tools.
Good to Have
- Experience in FP&A, cost control, or revenue analytics.
- Exposure to international accounting, multicurrency operations, or global subsidiaries.
- Understanding of royalty accounting, digital revenue models, or platform fee structures.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in gaming/tech-product environments and is comfortable partnering with senior leadership, GMs, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including MIS reporting, monthly/quarterly closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, FEMA regulations, and handle statutory filings.
- Manage IND-AS financial statements, consolidation, and audit support.
- Drive internal controls, process improvements, and financial discipline across teams.
- Lead Big4 audit coordination, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and closure.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial health of the business.
- Partner closely with business leaders and GMs to provide financial insights supporting decision-making.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Product, and Operations on financial compliance and business planning.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Preference for candidates from gaming, technology, or product-based companies.
- Strong knowledge of GST, FEMA, Income Tax, IND-AS, and corporate finance processes.
- Experience handling Big4 audits and statutory/compliance activities.
- Excellent skills in MIS, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP/finance tools (e.g., SAP, Netsuite, Zoho, Oracle).
Nice to Have
