EA Korea Studio's Game Designer is responsible for designing the entire player game experience, collaborating with UX Designers, and basing plans on extensive player data. The scope of planning includes system design, reward, and economic balancing, covering various content. This role involves proactive design and planning of core gameplay loops, understanding project vision, and applying analytical data to design, while also requiring strong communication skills.

EA Korea Studio is an EA game development studio located in Seoul, which has developed AAA sports games such as the FC online series, Need for Speed online, and MLB online. It is growing into a comprehensive development studio that leads new game trends beyond localizing global games.

EA Korea Studio, equipped with unique development capabilities such as realistic graphics and diverse content reflecting actual game scenes, is a large-scale development team composed of Game Designers, Artists, Software Engineers, Development Directors (Development PMs), and Producers, responsible for the entire process from development to live service.

EA Korea Studio follows EA's systematic development process globally, conducting all development processes from establishing development plans, finalizing game designs, setting visual directions, implementation, and QA based on documented processes. At the same time, it continuously improves by pursuing process advancement and optimization focused on efficiency improvement based on feedback from development participants.

[Main Responsibilities]

  • New content planning
  • Game system rules and interface planning

[Qualifications]

  • Minimum 5 years of game design experience
  • Experience in proactively designing and planning core game play loops
  • Ability to understand project vision well and plan accordingly
  • Ability to concretize ideas and thoughts into documents and communication skills
  • Ability to analytically use data and apply it to planning
  • Communication skills to clearly explain planning content and coordinate stakeholder interests
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis to plan independent features according to guidelines.

[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Experience in core game system planning and game balancing (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience participating in AAA project development (+ live service operation experience)
  • Global service operation experience
  • Experience operating services with overseas and domestic publishers
  • Experience coordinating stakeholder interests among development/publishing teams
