Job Description

Virtuos is seeking a Unity / C# Software Engineer to assist the lead engineer in project completion. Responsibilities include implementing and debugging functionality, ensuring efficient and high-quality task completion, utilizing version control, and actively collaborating within the team. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a reputable university, a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, and proficiency in C#. Experience with C++, Python, JavaScript, or Lua is a plus, along with basic Unity engine knowledge and 3D development experience. The role requires problem-solving skills, a passion for gaming, and excellent English communication. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Report to lead software engineer
  • Assist lead software engineer to finish project
  • Implement/debug functionality as given problem
  • Finish tasks with efficiency and quality
  • Use version control tools to integrate finished work
  • Be positive and active to communicate in the team
  • Be active to find the best solution for problems
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from prestigious universities
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Good knowledge of C# and additional programming languages at least one of them: C++, Python, JavaScript, Lua
  • Basic knowledge of Unity engine and plugins
  • Fundamental knowledge of 3D development
  • Active and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about game and willing to start career in game industry
  • Good communication skills in English, CET 6 is plus
  • Contributing open-source project is plus
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position
