AI Discovery Consultant, Creative and Production Operations

You’ll join the Creative Operations & Production Strategy team to conduct discovery, capture baseline metrics, and align leadership and creative stakeholders on realistic AI enablement goals. This part-time contract role will allow you to make a strategic impact on digital transformation initiatives within creative and production workflows. Compensation ranges from $130 to $150/hr (W2), paid weekly.

AI Discovery Consultant Responsibilities:

• Lead kickoff and alignment sessions with leadership and creative teams to define success criteria in plain language.
• Conduct 6 to 8 stakeholder interviews (~45 minutes each) across leadership, creative, and production to uncover workflows, pain points, and adoption barriers.
• Facilitate workflow shadowing sessions (1 to 2) to observe real creative deliverables end-to-end, identifying time-intensive steps and quality checkpoints.
• Build a retouching/creative workflow map showing step-by-step processes with flags for automation vs. human review.
• Establish baseline metrics (e.g., time per image, rework rate, approval rate) to measure success.
• Perform a guardrails and data check, capturing brand-critical rules (e.g., skin tone, color accuracy) that must remain human-reviewed.
• Develop a Success Metrics Sheet with baselines and target improvements (e.g., reduce average time per deliverable by 40 to 60% while maintaining current quality).
• Deliver a One-Page Alignment Brief summarizing goals, risks, and "what good looks like."

AI Discovery Consultant Qualifications:

• Proven background in AI operations, workflow design, or creative technology consulting.
• Experience with creative production tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Firefly, Runway, Figma, Midjourney, etc.).
• Strong facilitation skills for stakeholder interviews and alignment workshops.
• Ability to translate brand guidelines into guardrails for scalable AI adoption.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with experience delivering strategic briefs and workflow maps to leadership.
• Experience with digital transformation in relation to tech stacks and AI integration.
